Tonight we honored many scouts with advancements and merit badges. There was a special honor the parents and scouts who attended Philmont in the summer. They also created and shared a great slide show of their adventure. Congratulations!

Had a great family campout at Millersylvania State Park.

This year, our troop went to Camp Hahobas by the Hood Canal. We had a blast! Many of us worked towards completing two to four merit badges… that was a lot of work. Took free time to get most of the badges done. Highlights… Took second place in the boat race In the pop drinking contest, Rowan took 1st and Zachary took 2nd Zachary, Nathan and David won the dirtiest tent award. LOL It rained on us! Nick and Malcolm got their Communications MB. They only need one more to get Eagle… Matthew swam the mile during camp and got the award for it. Great job, Matthew! During the troopmaster shot contest, Ron got four out of four on shotgun. Wow!
It’s almost time for Eagle Project. The date I have chosen is the 12th and 13th of July which is creeping up very fast. Yesterday I picked up two 5 gallon buckets of black and white road paint from a company in Auburn. The objective of my project is to black out, and restripe the parking lines wider, because right now they are about a foot and a half too narrow. I’m looking forward to get the project finished so I can get my Eagle in the next month.
Some of the boys attended and received the Railroad Merit Badge. Great day!
Another full Court of Honor with lots of rank advancements and merit badges. Also, had a lot of adult awards.
Some of our scouts and parents climbed from Paradise to Camp Muir on Mount Rainier. What an awesome day!
Working hard to advance our young guys up in rank.
On this fifth Monday of the month, the troop decided to head to Kent Bowl and play a few games. Great night!
